mommy takes me running every day (she's going to start running races-for fun)

after she runs, she takes me out of my stroller and lets me run!

i love running, especially when my daddy runs with me.

geez mom...really? a potty picture?

I have to read my hunting magazines when I go to the potty-daddy thought it was a cute thing to teach me, now I insist on it every time!

mommy took pictures of us so we can send them to daddy,

he was starting to miss seeing us

don't worry-mommy wasn't driving while taking these pictures-we were stopped at a gas station

I decided to start stacking cups-I heard this is almost an olympic sport, so i'm training

mommy got me my first pillow, and a WOODY pillowcase - how great is my mom?!

{bulldogging on mother's day}

mommy and I spent mother's day killing a snake, lots of driving and riding, and eating pizza with grandma, uncle dave & aunt karina.

mommy helped out an old friend of hers by pushing the cattle for a bulldogging, i got to watch and ride with her. mommy made this special for me by us riding in daddy's saddle.

we had a lot of fun, i just wish daddy was here to ride with me.

{marshall 0 vs. toddler bed 2}

since I have started escaping from my crib on a regular basis mommy & daddy decided to switch me to a toddler bed...however they forgot one thing, to ask MY permission.

the first night I loved crawling in & out and it was great-mommy stayed right beside me until I fell asleep

as soon as she left though...I woke up and had no further interest in going back to sleep in that contraption

mommy put my crib back together at 1am after laying me down, me waking up, & repeat.

she tried again the next night, and the next...each night repeating turning the crib to a toddler bed, laying me down asleep, me waking up-repeat.

she has now decided that we're not going to try the toddler bed until daddy comes home right before he deploys-it will work better because daddy will sleep in my room with me (AWESOME!) and daddy will get to share in this monumental moment in my life!

it's not fair that daddy gets to go to California for vacation while mommy & me hang out in WINDY Oklahoma! but he had to leave today, which makes me really sad. i insisted on staying up till midnight with mommy & daddy helping him pack because I am such a sweet, helpful little boy!

daddy had to leave first thing in the morning, so mommy woke me up and got me dressed at 3AM! needless to say, i didn't really wake up, but I had my daddy doll with me so daddy could be with me even after he got on the plane and left.

there was a mixup with daddy's flight, so he didn't end up leaving until that evening. mommy took me back so her and i could get some sleep...and boy did we sleep!

while we were staying with daddy before he left we had to get out and do some fun stuff, so we of course went and ate...A LOT, and me being a picky eater i should say that mommy & daddy ate a lot.

one of the more fun things we did-bass pro shop!!

i love all of the deer and fish in bass pro, my favorite might be the big fish tank

what every good fisherman needs-a really FAST boat!

unfortunately mommy & daddy didn't think we needed it...

mommy took me to see daddy while he was in the state (before he got to come home)

this is me chillin while my driver takes me to see my daddy for the first time in weeks

since daddy still had to stay out of town before he got to come home, mommy and I stayed in the hotel with him

I found the perfect playing spot...

but daddy didn't agree

while daddy is home, a very special day happened....mommy & daddy's anniversary

because mommy & daddy love me so much they took me out for their anniversary

yeah, i look good, I'm kind of a big deal

running the trail with mommy, making sure she doesn't stop

i am so excited, my daddy comes home from training for a couple of weeks before leaving again for more training. but i can't wait to see my daddy! there are so many things that we're going to do when he gets home!

Before my daddy left, my mommy went online and made a special request to have a daddy doll made of my daddy for me. I waited several weeks and daddy had already left, then today when mommy and I came home from shopping, waiting there by the garage was a package for me.

Mommy brought the package inside and let me tear into it-just like my birthday and Christmas! It was SO much fun!

Once I had the box open, and discovered there was something inside, guess what I pulled out??
My DADDY!

I am so excited to get my daddy doll-I now get to sleep with my daddy, I get to hear his voice whenever I want, and he gets to go everywhere with me - even though my daddy is thousands of miles away from me.
